Difficult case! Referral dentist and patient wanted to save it at all costs. The space in distal is opal dam. The patient was going to the referral dentist right after root canal treatment for crown lengthening and post and core.
Necrotic but asymptomatic. long roots (23mm). Distal canal I couldn’t create a glidepath to main foramen. But as we can see some sealer went through!

When doing these type of cases remember patience is the key! And not more than .04 taper in my opinion.

fthhoma Why not more than .04 taper? Nice job by the way. Totally envu you

drgilbertogalvez @viruleta creo q es lo ideal.

drgilbertogalvez @_maha16_ elements free

drgilbertogalvez @fthhoma see how many curves one need to overcome in this type of long thin roots. Shaping to a .06 would requiere too much cutting in middle and coronal thirds of the root, weakening the root. Also file separation becomes more likely.

chibimoku Fantastic work!!!!!!!

_maha16_ @drgilbertogalvez lateral or vertical condensation?

fthhoma @drgilbertogalvez thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. So you don’t suggest edge endo platinum files for this type?
